My name is Brent.

I’m a Site Reliability Engineer that loves to learn but forgets 95% of it. Fortunately, I can easily remember keywords and specific bits of info to help my brain track down the original documentation or source of where I learned how to do something. Unfortunately, most websites are ephemeral and I often find the source where I learned something is now gone.

Rather than continuing to have that happen I decided to start writing things down. That not only helps me learn them better and have a better chance of remembering them in the first place, it allows others to find my page and learn from it as well.

This will be my blog. It is built using Hugo and the Doks theme.
